LibreOffice 4.2.1 is available to Install using PPA On Ubuntu
|The official repository of LibreOffice 4.2.x series has been updated with the latest version “LibreOffice 4.2.1”. So, if you would like to install the latest stable version of LibreOffice 4.2.x series using PPA on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin, Ubuntu 13.10 Saucy Salamander and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty Tahr, please follow installation instructions down below.

[Note]As we have mentioned up here, this PPA only supports Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, Ubuntu 13.10 and Ubuntu 14.04 LTS[/note]
[How To]: Install LibreOffice 4.2.1 on Ubuntu Using PPA
Run Terminal, then type
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-4-2 sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libreoffice
Currently the PPA includes the the release candidate of LibreOffice 4.2.1 which is bit by bit identical to the stable version.
