Install Avant Window Navigator Multiple Docks On Ubuntu 10.10 AWN
|I just installed my favorite dock on Ubuntu 10.10 Avant Window Navigator AWN dock, with development 0.4 for AWN dock now support multiple docks you can add many docks and customize each one with different themes, applets, launchers, even more with all features available for regular dock but now with multiple docks.
Even it’s still development release, it’s working fine on Ubuntu 10.10. I have been using it for a while and working really good except i had some crashes with some applets like ” AWN system monitor “, but overall working great on Ubuntu 10.10.
Themes: Also you can choose between default themes available for AWN dock and new themes added lately called clearlooks dark theme looks really good one. Or you can check many great themes for AWN dock in these Posts:

You’re very welcome.
For some reason my wont find deb so the commands don’t to install I did.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:awn-testing/ppa/
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator-trunk
This is another way for adding repository, up there on the post you can add awn repository using software sources or add it directly to repository list.
the way you mentioned in your comment is the same but by using command line “terminal”. both of them working well.
