Hide mounted partitions for ubuntu 9.10

Many people like to have clean desktop without any icons for mounted partitions. So, here’s a quick tutorial for how to hide desktop icons including mounted partitions and main window for nautilus file manager “Computer Icon”, Trash icon, …etc.

So we will user here configuration editor or “gconf-editor” then using nautilus on apps directory then Desktop

Here you can modify many options like Hiding and showing ” computer icon, trash icon, network icon, home icon”
