Uget is a free and open source gtk download manager, supported on cross-platform ” GNU Linux/ Windows “, uGet used to be known as urlgfe.

As any download manager Uget has most common features for any download manager and the new version 1.8 support downloading torrent as well.

sudo apt-get uget

How to Download torrent files using Uget 1.8

You have to install aria2 multi-protocol and activate aria2 plugin in Uget settings.

sudo apt-get install aria2

then you will be able to add new torrent files to download.
