Ubuntu Tweak 0.6.1 Released For Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin

Ubuntu Tweak is quite good tool allows you to tweak and customize Ubuntu in many ways. Ubuntu Tweak developer “Tualatrix Chou” announced a new release of Ubuntu Tweak supports Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin with few changes and some bug fixes. Check Download options and screenshots down below.

Ubuntu Tweak 0.6.1 is released for Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin and Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot. Last release of ubuntu Tweak removed the Unity Greeter background feature, since the last release Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Unity Greeter supports displaying the current user background. Added a new feature allows you to change Unity Dash and Panel color. Also comes with some a few other changes mentioned on the release notes:

  • Add support for Ubuntu 12.04.
  • Remove the background change in Login Settings, because the LightDM for 12.04 already support read user background setting.
  • Add “Dash color” setting to Unity Settings.
  • Add “Desktop Font” setting to Fonts Settings.
  • Hide the Session Control for Lubuntu.

Hopefully some new features coming to next release of Ubuntu Tweak 0.7 with the final release Of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin.

Also you can install Ubuntu Tweak 0.6.1 on Ubuntu Precise and Oneiric using the official repository “PPA”.

Run Terminal “Ctrl+Alt+t”

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:tualatrix/ppa

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install ubuntu-tweak
