Ubuntu One Is Being Used for Viewing the Egyptian Presidential Election

Finally , the first real and almost fair Egyptian presidential election since Omar Suleiman announced that the tyrant Hosni Mubarak has been resigned in April 11, 2011. Ubuntu One is hosting the Google spreadsheet for latest updates for the Egyptian presidential election counted votes so far from the Egyptian governorates.

The Muslim brotherhood’s candidate DR. Mohamed Morsy has the highest votes with about 26% and the independent former prime minister Ahmed Shafiq with about 24% of the total counted votes so far.

The leading candidates for the position of the next Egyptian president are:

  1. Mohamed Morsy  25.48%

  2. Ahmed Shafiq 24.37%

  3. Abdel Moneim Aboul Fotouh 18.26%

  4. Hamdin Sabbahi 20.94%

  5. Amr Mousa 10.66%

The final and total votes will be announced soon by the Supreme Elections Committee and the official date for the run-off between Mohamed Morsy and Ahmed Shafiq since both of them are the leading candidates of the Egyptian presidential election.
