Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin the next long term support final release will be released on April 26th, 2012. Recently the release schedule page does not include the release candidate “RC” of Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin which was supposed to be released on April 19th, 2012.
Dropping Ubuntu 12.04 RC didn’t effect the release schedule of the Ubuntu 12.04 LTS final release date, it still will be released on April 26th, 2012.
December 1st, 2011 – Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Alpha 1 release “Released”
February 2nd, 2012 – Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Alpha 2 release “Released”
March 1st, 2012 – Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Beta 1 release “Released”
March 22nd, 2012– Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Beta 2 release ” Released “
April 19th, 2012 – Ubuntu 12.04 LTS RC release “Canceled”
- April 26th, 2012 – Ubuntu 12.04 LTS final release.
