Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal Alpha 2 has been released. Few applications replacement comes up with Natty Narwhal alpha 2 release, packages upgrades and kernel upgrade to 2.6.38-rc2. Alpha 2 is the second in a series of milestone CD images that will be released throughout the Natty development cycle.
New packages showing up for the first time include:
- LibreOffice 3.3 (has replaced OpenOffice.org 3.2)
- X.org Server 1.10 and Mesa 7.10
- Linux Kernel 2.6.38-rc2.
Alpha 2 is the second in a series of milestone CD images that will be released throughout the Natty development cycle. Unity is now the default in the Ubuntu Desktop session. Itis only partially implemented at this stage, so keep an eye onthe daily builds, new features and bug fixes are emerging daily!
