No doubt that Ubuntu 10.04 LTS was a really good distribution and still it’s LTS ” Long Term Support ” release, Desktop releases will be supported for 3 years and server releases supported for 5 years, but with Ubuntu 10.10 won’t be supported when the next release comes out 11.04 Natty Narwhal.
I liked a lot the new release of Ubuntu 10.10 desktop release many great feature added as New Ubuntu software center, sound panel indicators, shotwell photo manager, even more features you can check it Here. Netbook as well comes with a massive change i do like a lot Unity interface a great suitable interface for small displays safe a big space for active window, integrating global menus main gnome panel.
I still using Ubuntu 10.04.1 on my desktop and i decided to keep sticking with it till the next long-term-support release comes out, cause i had many bugs with Ubuntu 10.10 after installation hardware computability, some annoying bugs like layout changer causing overload to CPU usage 100%, some application not performing as it used to be on Ubuntu 10.04.
But i keep using Ubuntu 10.10 on my Laptop, up and running really well.

Congratulations man, great you solved some of those problems, Usually the problem is not with the distribution itself but sometimes with developer who developed these applications we try to install on non compatible platform, when they release a new version of those application solves the problem cause they make sure it’s compatible with current distribution releases. Thanks for your comment.
