First impression
Same looking as Ubuntu 10.04 LTS, quick booting time, same installed default themes, and backgrounds, but many applications upgraded to last release.

still quite early for this release to notice changes between it and older version 10.04 LTS. but it’s working really good i didn’t got any problem with at all so far.
Waiting for Alpha 2 according to schedule will be released July 1st, That’s it for now.

i installed ubuntu 10.04 lts on a compaq presario and it froze every time…is there a chance i might have the same problem with this new release .
I am not sure what’s the problem with your laptop!! , they might fixed it if someone report this bug!. please include more information about the problem ” laptop model or hardware specifications”, when it froze ” while running live session, or the installations process”. Good LUCK

tem uns mané que falam que a quela merda de ((( wine ))) resolve mas nao resolve, porra programinha horrivel funciona algumas porcaria do cotidiano mas programas profissionais nao funciona alem de dar um milhao de erro tudo que voce vai querer rodar pelo wine fica lerdo isso que meu pc é um monstro imagino como que fica nos pc normal de ficar um lixo o linux ubuntu 10.10 orra ficou animal tem tudo para dar certo um sistema operacional pratico bonito estavel mas nao vao fazer susseço ou nao vao ficar popular em quanto nao tiver um programa que realmente fucione no lugar do wine em quanto nao resolverem fazer com que ele tenha compatibilidade com softwares do windows vao continuar so em segundo plano porra nao tem como eu largar 14 anos de lado de experiencia em um software de edição para para mudar de prataforma nova em quanto nao tiver um programa que realmente cumpra o que promete em questao de rodar softwares windos em linux fodeu infelizmente fico triste em ter que abandonar o linux por mais um ano na espectativa que ano que vem melhore esse problema de compatibilidade
