MyUnity is simple tool helps you to easily customize and configure Unity user interface for Ubuntu. It allows customize many elements in your desktop such as Unity launcher, Unity panel, Unity dash, themes, font and desktop icons visibility. MyUnity 3.0 brings several new features, and graphical user interface “GUI” which eases the navigation through MyUnity options.
What’s New in MyUnity 3.0
Since the first release of MyUnity the Graphical user interface has been changed for Three times. The new Graphical User Interface looks more organized and allows you to easily switch between tabs by using the tabs on the top-left tabs, or using the arrows.
Ability to reconfigure the the Quicklist for Unity launcher icons, which become useful in many ways such as adding a quick website access through the quicklist for your currently locked web browsers “Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Chromium, …etc.” in your Unity Launcher.
Customize Unity launcher and Unity dash color through “Launcher Tab”.
Adjust the number of workspaces you would like to use through “Desktop” Tab.

Install My Unity 3.0 on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS Precise Pangolin
MyUnity 3.0 is already available on Ubuntu Precise repository, so you won’t have to add additional repository, just Click install, it will install it using “Ubuntu Software Center”.
Install My Unity 3.0 on Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot and Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal
Ubuntu Oneiric and Natty users will need to add the official repository “PPA” to install it.
Run Terminal “Ctrl+Alt+t”
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install myunity
