Install Firefox 4.0 on Ubuntu 10.10/Ubuntu 10.04 LTS.

Install Firefox 4.0 Fedora, RHEL, CentOS, OpenSUSE,… using Remi repository.

This’s the English version of Firefox 4.0 for other languages install suitable extensions 32bit, 64bit.

I am using a dark gtk theme and emerald window decoration so this is not how it should look like after installation.

New user interface looks quite good safe a really big space for web pages specially if you deactivate the menu bar and bookmark bar. Few icons moved like home buttons, refresh and stop buttons, also it’s up to you to reorganize your web browser layout.

Groups and Tabs : You can easily group current tabs on many groups to easily organize each group for different usage, simply drag and drop open tab on another one to regroup them. Also pin tabs is a great way to keep your tabs active every time you run Firefox.

3D on the Web

WebGL brings 3D graphics to Firefox, opening the door for developers to create vivid games and new kinds of visualizations and experiences for the Web.

WebM and HD Video

As pioneers of HTML5 video standards, Firefox also supports the WebM format so you can watch open HD-quality video.
