Linux Mint 201104 Xfce edition provide better performance and save a big amount of RAM comparing it older version Linux Mint 9 Xfce. 201104 xfce based on Debian using same LMDE repositories.

Mint Menu added to 201104 Xfce version but it uses additional 30 MB of RAM, and you can Enable/Disable it by adding new applet to the panel select ”XfApplet”->”mintMenu”.

This performance boost allowed us to give Xfce a more mainstream software selection, replacing Exaile with Rhythmox, adding VLC and giving Xfce almost the same software selection as Gnome.
