LibrePlan is free and open-source advanced web application for projects planning, managing resources, monitoring projects progress, tracking progress with advanced reports and even more. LibrePlan formerly known as NavalPlan for the earlier releases.
LibrePlan will help you to easily manage your projects almost from A to Z, create work breakdown structure “WBS” to estimate the time required for the project tasks, calculate the number of working days and working hours, shows you a statics using monte carlo simulation, know how much your project cost, and adapt the planning for project execution. [How To]: Install LibrePlan 1.2 On Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot
So far the LibrePlan developer does not offer an official package for installing LibrePlan 1.2 on Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot. However, the Debian package for Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal working fine on Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot and earlier releases of Ubuntu as well.
Download LibrePlan 1.2 Debian Package i386 - AMD64.
Install LibrePlan 1.2 On Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal Using PPA
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libreplan

Also you can Use the war package for installing LibrePlan on any Linux distribution as well.

Simply run the web browser and open the following URL http://localhost:8080/libreplan/
