Blender is a free and opensource 3D object modeling applications works in cross-platforms. Blender 2.58 stable version has been released and available to install In Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal and older versions using PPA.

PPA works in Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric, Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick, Ubuntu 10.04 Lucid, and Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic

You are welcome. The repository just been updated few hours ago to blender 2.59.
Blender 2.59.2 seems to be very broken. At least on my system it’s not working properly. 2.58 used to work fine. It also doesn’t have ffmpeg support in Natty, so video export is also broken. Going back to 2.58 until this is fixed.

No problems on 64bit Linux Mint. But 32bit Linux Mint 11 still installs a 64bit version (the only one, I presume) and fails.
