Gconf-Cleaner is a cleaning up tool for unknown or invalid gconf keys for applications stored in configuration system. This tool is quite handy in case you want to remove preferences to specific application listed on gconf applications database.
check gconf keys before continue cleaning operation, you might need this keys later. You can backup your available keys before removing them.
Install Gconf-Cleaner in Ubuntu 11.04 Natty/Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick
sudo apt-get install gconf-cleaner
Install Gconf-editor in Fedora 14 Laughlin / Fedora 15 Lovelock
su "gain administration privileges"
yum install gconf-cleaner
yum install gconf-cleaner
