Elegant Gnome Pack Themes On Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick | PPA

I have been using Elegant Gnome Pack for a while, looks really good comes with a big customizations collection for elegant gtk theme, firefox theme, chrome theme, cursor theme, keyboard layout indicator, pidgin theme ” i didn’t had a chance to use it cause i use empathy “, even more.

The pack contains the following stuff :

  • GUI utility to configure your desktop
  • Icon theme: Elegant-AwOken based on the AwOken icon set by alecive
  • GTK+ theme: Elegant GTK theme v 3.3
  • Cursor Theme: Neutral++ by ducakar
  • Wallpaper: gDIGE by *Muscarr
  • Keyboard layout indicator flags
  • Firefox theme
  • Google Chrome theme by Jorge Carrillo
  • Google Chrome scrollbar extension
  • Google Chrome selection extension
  • Smplayer theme
  • Pidgin buddy list theme by Szabo Istvan

I installed it on Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat, according to gnome-look artwork project tested on Ubuntu Lucid/Maverick, fedora 13, Arch linux, Opensuse 11.3, debian testing.

Install Elegant Gnome Pack On Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick

Open Terminal window then type

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:elegant-gnome/ppa

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

sudo apt-get install elegant-gnome

then go to application > accessories > Elegant Gnome

and follow installation options there.

Install Nautilus elementary on Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:am-monkeyd/nautilus-elementary-ppa

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade

configure elementary nautilus from elegant app launcher on accessories menu.
