Ubuntu software center including featured applications on some kinda of slider and news box it’s not working with me. but i think it’s for new softwares add to ubuntu repositories.
Overall i like Linux Mint 9 Isadora software manager more than Ubuntu 10.10 Alpha 2.
Let’s hope that more features added to ubuntu software center with upcoming releases.

10 minutes installation duration really quick, but right after the installation, crashed with some third party or local libraries ” Reported ”

[Reviews]: TinyMe 2010 Acorn RC 1 Review
One of the mini distribution based on Unity Linux, it a great choice for old machines cause it does not take a big amount of RAM and CPU usage, using OpenBox 3.4.11 lightweight window manager, simple LXPanel, and many installed application will mention it later on the review.

Testing Environment: using virtual box
This distribution able to work on really low hardware specification for old computers. tried to use it with 128 MB of Ram on virtual box and it was working great.
booting time and starting up the live session it was quick, then it starting first use configurations for languages, time, date, and locations. Then it will give you options to run TinyMe with root privileges or guest. ” username and Password included there”

simple and smooth desktop using OpenBox window manager fully customized using openbox window manager configurations, included with LXPanel 0.5.5, and conky 1.8 customized using conkyrc configuration file to extra element for it.

Installation process for TinyMe 2010 RC 1
Took about 3-5 minutes, just to locate partition size, and select boot type for graphic user interface, or simple text.
After the installation over just restart the machine without mounting iso file. Will keep you up when the final release cones out, even it’s still RC version but working great, worth to try guys, That’s it for Now.
