Nautilus Terminal is quite similar to the embedded terminal we have seen earlier on Nautilus Elementary on Ubuntu 11.04 Natty Narwhal. Here’s a way to add embedded terminal to Nautilus file manager on Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot.
Nautilus Terminal 1.0 compatible with Nautilus 3 and Nautilus 3.2. It follows your directory navigation and shows on the embedded terminal, you can use Copy “Ctrl+Shift+C” and Paste “Ctrl+Shift+V” shortcuts keys on it. Nautilus Terminal is resizable and you can show/hide it using F4 key.
[How To]: Nautilus Terminal On Nautilus File Manager On Ubuntu 11.10 Oneiric Ocelot Using PPA
sudo apt-add-repository ppa:flozz/flozz
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nautilus-terminal
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install nautilus-terminal
You can install Nautilus Terminal 0.7.1 on earlier versions of Ubuntu “Natty, Maverick, Lucid, and Karmic” using same PPA
